A WEEK IN PEDIATRICS// MBBS // POSTINGS// BJMC

I am a 3rd year medical student at B J Medical College, Pune and I recently completed my one-week posting in Pediatrics.

I was posted in the OPD, where I saw so many small kids with malnutrition. I also saw patients with rare conditions & diseases, which was a great learning experience.

The most frustrating thing was that I couldn’t do much for the patients because of the lack of resources.

Overall, it was a great experience and I learnt a lot, and I would recommend to all medical students that they must attend all the postings because it actually gives you a hands on experience of the practice of medicine.

I am now more determined to become a Pediatrician.
